BE BRAVE LETTER
“If you want to be brave do brave things.”
Early in the dark silence of a new day, my mind thinks; my heart suffers for a beautiful, kind, gentle, strong, wife and mother in the loving village I have come to call home; Scammon Bay, Alaska. These are my Words of Hope for the Ulak family and to the millions and millions in the cancer war.
Good morning Darlene, Byron, and Harley,
This early morning, in the still, quiet hours, Darlene you are on my heart.
God has allowed you and me to have cancer, not our spouses. This is the hand we have been dealt.
In so many ways your Byron and my Susie have it more difficult, even harder than you and me because they are helpless.
As you and I suffer, they suffer. They so desperately want to take our sorrow away and even share in it with us.
Please read each of these Daily Words of Hope listed, because though they were written to many, in reality, they were for you and me.
What Do You Say When There Is No Hope
It is our joy to live Paul’s WORDS.
“He said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in your weakness that’s why I boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses for when I am weak then I am strong…” – Paul, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
You, Darlene Ulak, are the child of God. He knew you before you were born. Today you are all His. His angel. His ambassador.
Please pray for Fred Crowell that I will be strong; ready to live fully or die gracefully knowing we belong to Him.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice.
Be joyful in everything, give thanks in all things.
Darlene Ulak and Fred Crowell can do all things through Christ who gives us the strength.
Harley, I share this with you because I know how you love Byron and Darlene. You are Scammon Bay’s servant leader and you do it so well.
Please tell Alice, my wife Susie and I pray for her. She is a beautiful soul.
Because He lives, I am.
– Fred Crowell
