PURPOSE in life will keep you alive and well. FULFILLMENT makes it worth it. If these are true statements, then knowing your reason for living is critical and essential for your well-being. The crucial question is: “Who would you like to be in one year from today?“
Check this advertisement promoting a senior residential community: “We invite you to discover a place where the life you live is more perfect every day because this place is uniquely yours.”
The fact is no place is uniquely yours unless you know who you uniquely are! Wherever you are becomes uniquely yours only because you bring your own uniqueness. You are a miracle simply because God created you to be one of a kind, unique. What you do with your uniquely you makes your purpose for life so important.
Who are you now? Who do you want to be in one year? God loves you and has a wonderful purpose for you this coming year. David wrote in Psalm 138:8, “The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever….”
You are the one who holds the key to unlock and unleash God’s purpose for you. You, you alone, will determine how the place you live becomes more perfect every day. Having this choice is God’s gift to you. How you choose to live is your gift to God. Mohatma Ghandi said, ” My life is my message.” What is yours?
