Words of Hope: Celebration of Life
My Dad’s celebration of life is nearing. I look forward to honoring the life of my Dad. Dad loved parties because he loved people. He delighted in each person and remembered the names of campers who attended camp years ago. Our family would marvel at how he could recall people by name with specific details about their life. My Dad loved to pray for people by name; he would picture them in his mind’s eye and ask for God’s blessing. Many of the people he prayed for will be gathering together in one space to honor God’s light through his life. There will be flowers, food, music, and memories of my Dad. I am grateful for those who have sacrificed time and expense to come. Your attendance means so much.
