PROTECT YOUR PEACE
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” – John 10:10
The Spokesman Review reported that the Washington legislature awarded Spokane $300,000 to help reduce the huge auto theft and home burglary problem that ranks our city at top levels nationally.
In a ten minute span, our neighbor’s home was robbed while they dashed out for a quick errand. Two close friends’ cars were stolen. Identity theft is brutal too.
Victims of robbery feel violated. They become hyper protective of their property and identity.
The Crowell’s have a highly efficient alarm system. We never leave home without it on alert.
Living in a state of peace is as valuable as any property I own and my identity. Having peace demands similar attention to the protections of anything of value.
Peace protection begins with guarding the heart. This week my focus is going to be on protection of the precious gifts the Lord gives all who choose His Ways.
Peace is my first gift to protect.
If you did one thing to protect your peace today, what would it be? Please email with one way you protect your peace. My prime way is to spend 15 minutes alone in my sacred place to prepare for the new day.
