Hi Robert – Bobby MAC,
Good news and bad news
The self-therapy letter to myself details the good news. Read on.
Dear Freddy J,
Good morning, best friend. Hope with God’s hope you are enjoying today.
May I suggest you lean into Jesus’ promise, that your old nature died with him on the cross?
The Freddy J you can now enjoy is your new nature; the one who has the mind of Christ, the heart emotion changed from blood red to white as pure fallen snow. You can rest this very moment you are His miracle. Crowell is God’s miracle and gift to others.
As your excellent mind sifts all medical options know all is well because you choose to live right here, right now. Fred, you live today solely to love your Lord God, all creation, and especially people.
I like writing letters to myself because it proves to me Freddy J Crowell can be and is my very best friend. Far too long there was enmity between self and me. Self is dead; the Holy Spirit filled me, is the precious me.
Nice calls and letters are great but not vitally important to me.
What is vital is the following:
Rejoice in the Lord.
Give thanks.
Trust in the Lord, not oncologists.
Do what your Christ-filled heart tells you to do each moment today; then you will live peace and joy.
Amen,
Fred
The bad news is radiation failed. My cancer has doubled. Very tuff recommendations to extend time here.
Not sure I can agree to go full chemo route even though there have been major advancements in chemo cocktails.
I am in decision mode. I will be seeing the doc tomorrow.
My message to my dear beloved friend is to know I welcome going home yet will fight as His warrior to live many more days. So it is well with my soul.
Thank you for being you!
– Coach Crowell
(the way you most often address me with genuine affection)
