Music is the universal language of the world. Melodic music can be like the soft drizzle of rain, in other words, light rain in fine drops. It just falls effortlessly. It’s just rain.

Our brains tend to become distracted and entertained by the sounds of raindrops falling. These raindrops spellbound us. Usually, we don’t like monotony, but they can become a melodic drizzle. It can even inspire us to live in the present.

Natalya Crowell Ferch Fisher is the title I ascribe to our firstborn grandchild. My wife and I witnessed her birth, clearly one of the most spiritual moments of my life. Natalya refreshes us with songs like drizzling rain, bringing comfort to our tiredness. Currently, she lives with her husband, Tim, in New York while pursuing a career on Broadway.
