SO HARD, TO SO EASY

Hard work pays off

14 plus years ago in the birthing room at Sacred Heart Hospital, the doctors went into emergency mode hoping to save Ariana Alexis Crowell / Ferch’s new life.

It was a tough go for a while. It seemed like an eternity. The family was ecstatic when Arie survived.

A couple years later, Ari was back to Spokane’s excellent hospital. One Doctor foolishly said to Jennifer, Ari’s mother, “If we get the illness under control, (an unknown diagnosis), Ariana may still suffer brain damage.

Once again, the Crowell/Ferch’s were in panic and prayer mode. Mother-bear was beside herself.

Now at age 14+ Ariana Alexis Ferch is beginning to benefit from a life of dedication, relentless pursuit of excellence and passion for ballet.

As you view Ariana dancing, marvel at her commitment to perfection.

What you see is hundreds of hours of practice.

What you see is a young lady who has spent over 6 hours in practice some days, coming home totally exhausted.

What you see is the potential that each of us has to be amazing at some special skill the Lord has placed inside of us.

Our job is to find our passion. Enjoy Ariana:

Every child benefits from a PaPa who is willing to tell the world about his precious grandchildren.

While in China, my Chinese basketball boys delighted in saying with huge smiles immediately after making a shot, “so easy!”

so easy,” only comes after, “so hard!”

I live for and love being Poppa Suave.

Colossians 3:13-17 will inspire you. Read each word carefully.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. – Colossians 3:13-17
