The Word for All

Happiness is watching your granddaughter dance. Possibly one of the greatest joys of being a grandparent is watching grandchildren excel and love life with passion.

As I analyze my own joy in my grandchildren, this Word of Hope gives me the opportunity to see how we can grow our own happiness. Happiness is a gift, not a right. It is a condition. It is a choice that requires our embrace and cultivation.

In life, one of the best ways to grow happiness is to delight and enjoy the success of others. Even though everything may seem to be crumbling around you, another way is to find the good, the silver lining. It is always there! A third way is to stop and examine and therefore discover, what is truly important and precious. Everything else will be transitory and possibly empty.

I conclude that **we can be as happy as we choose to be.**Therefore, my wish for you is to choose happiness regardless of your circumstances and worldly concerns. Certainly, if you choose to follow God, you will experience all He has in store for you, including fullness of joy.
