Words of Hope: Priceless Words
I found a letter from my Dad to Natalya, my oldest. (I know the proper way to write “my dad” is lowercase, but I think of my Dad as grander, more significant, and worthy of a capital D, so I hope you will continue to indulge me in this grammatical transgression.) Anyway, my Dad’s letter was stuck at the bottom of a box I was cleaning. I opened it and immediately began to cry. Dad wrote some of the most beautiful notes and letters on the planet. How did he do this? Each one was a work of art, beautiful, kind, like a treasured jewel. I took a photo and sent it to the Family text. I asked Natalya’s permission to share what he wrote.

Dear Natalya,
When the Lord God created you even before you were born, He has His eyes on you!
Each child is a miracle; some have been given more—What they do with their own “personal more” is the great mystery—some born with little more; others, lots of more!
Some with little more, create 100-fold more; others with 100-fold more, reduce it to zero more.
To the delight of your grandparents, we see you born as a 100-fold more child of God. In just 24 years, your 100-fold has multiplied— You are a talented “giver” of love, light, and life.
It is not what you do that brings these three L’s —– it is you!
You chose long ago to seek Jesus first and only His word! Keep being you; don’t focus on what you do or don’t do! Be you; all His; Forever His. It is not by our strength or talent; it will be done by His Spirit in you.
Love you forever,
Papa
