FEAR FACTOR, Part 2

If the word fear is found at least 80 places in the Bible, I tend to believe God knew the FEAR FACTOR was part of our human nature. His Word shows He cares about every detail of our lives, even when there are deep trials.

Our final three steps are responses to His kind invitation“Come unto Me…” (Matt. 11:28)

  1. Go to God’s unfailing courage. “When I am afraid I put my trust in You…What can mere mortals do to me?” (Isa. 56:3-4)
  2. Go to God’s promised help. He says, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you…’ “ (Isa. 41:13)
  3. Go to God’s perfect love. It is written that God’s perfect love casts out all fear. Who knows you better but still loves you the most? And who gave as much proof of His love? He still says “Come…”!

It is never too late to turn to God for His help. This becomes a healthy faith, a FLIGHT FACTOR when our FEAR FACTOR kicks in.
