EXTREME DISLIKE OR STRONG DISTRUST, Part III

To me, desperate times need our desperate action.

It seems possible when we righteously hate something evil, we gain power and energy to fight the enemy. The notion that we cannot talk about it without tears or turn to silence gives both cancer and suicide power.  As I have been in deep reflection, I find strength and victory in saying I hate cancer, I hate suicide, I hate war, and I hate the evil God hates.  Words are power. The right words at the right time help us win, beat, defeat the cruel enemies trying to steal our joy, our peace, our love, and our kindness.

The R.I.O.T. song says:

  • From the fight, we are salt and light;
  • Love nothing but God;
  • Hate nothing but sin (that which misses the mark of God).

My dear Alaskan warrior, let’s fight and battle to win the wars: suicide, evil, cancer.  As we do this, we have St. Paul’s promise: “For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.”  II Corinthians 9:12
